Now that the site is up, and you've all drooled your saliva away over the pictures of everyone's favorite trio-- lets crank it up and let it fly:: FEEDBACK STYLE
Lyrics... what make bob dylan and conor oberst master poets playing instruments. So what is there to say about Krumpfer when it comes to his talent as a lyricist? Obvious biases aside- lets just look at the patterns here. Is it just me or are there a whole buncha songs about being alone? But this isnt just emo folks.. no this is more than that. There are songs in all tones to address this fear, this reality that each of us knows all too well in our own lives. To their credit these boys have produced songs that address the situation with almost every tone your warm body could feel.
Bargain Bin - you all suck why don't you just sell yourself to someone who's buying your bullshit... just like everybody else cuz thats all your good for.. and now im spiteful and alone but thats ok cuz ur an ass
Arrogant - you betrayed me, threw me away and now im angry and alone but thats ok cuz your an ass
Nothing - im sad cuz you meant alot.. and although you havent left me yet, you just might and then you'd be an ass
Photos on the Wall - you want to leave me too, it used to be so good back when I could remember what it was like but now im gonna be alone and these picture i've got to replace you just arent the same. you ass
Times Before - I've been thinking about the way it used to be, back before things changed and back before I knew how to doubt. ( I don't exactly know how to fit the "you're an ass" line in there.. but thats ok you all get the point)
these are good songs (from the site) that strike a chord with anyone who's ever felt that being young and learning how to lose was less than a graceful experience. And you know, if you disagree you can comment.. or you can grumble to yourself quietly- you ass
Question of the Week:
Best Song to Be Alone With in a Dark Movie Theatre?
a) Bargain Bin
b) Arrogant
c) Nothing
d) Photos on the Wall
e) Times Before

ALRIGHT
So the big question is, what the hell has this band been up to, cuz this whole baited breath thing is becoming a problem.
But as the EP approaches its finishing touches... heh.. we also have the new website to look forward to. With Suzanne behind the wheel it should look marvelous, and of course it will because it will be the highest tribute to Joy's Lament since their first show.
I've been re-listening to some of the older stuff, and after hearing the EP stuff live, I have to say that notable changes have been made, some ingenious others just creatively "nice". I must say that though I've probably over-stayed my welcome more than once at a band practice, these guys are so good live. I mean, nothing beats live music anyway, but even still... whats that word again... synergy anyone?
It'll be kool to have something to hold in my hands and go through song for song with commentary, (then this site will actually have a constructive/analytical purpose, i mean it is called feedback now isnt it) that im sure will be fun times.
alright so on to the part that everyone has lost interest in:
Question of the Week:
How much does Sean look like James Dean?
a- none could be a better twin
b- james who?
c- sean who?
d- sean james is that anything like sean john?
e- what are you talking about sean is way kooler than james dean
f- since when is there an "f", but anyway.. its a reasonable resemblance
lata ma babies!
